Facebook and Instagram Thanksgiving Outage

If you live in the US and are a user of Facebook or Instagram, chances are you were affected by the Thanksgiving outage. As if Instagram wasn’t already under enough fire from the news that likes are being removed. Problems were reported as early as 10 am and persisted for approximately five hours.

Of course, this caused quite the outrage, as holidays are the most popular posting times. People want to share their holiday activities with friends and family. With Facebook and Instagram down, how were users to complain about the Facebook and Instagram outage? Twitter, of course. Scores of users flooded Instagram’s Twitter feed with complaints.

It was not made known what caused the outage, but it did not seem to affect their other social platform, WhatsApp.
